Your challenge
Are you eager to help your customers, manage cash inflow, manage escalations, and improve processes in the Order to Cash Center of Excellence (CoE) and specifically in the Credit Risk process? Then the position of Senior Credit Risk Expert might just be your next step!

Your responsibilities
In this rewarding role, you have an integral responsibility for the entire Credit Risk process for all entities in your scope and your main responsibilities are:

  • Timely analyze the credit worthiness of new & existing customers by utilizing our scoring methodology
  • Manage portfolio management to identify specific industry & customer type credit risk
  • Assign credit limits & risk categories in cooperation with business
  • Manage the bad debt restructuring
  • Manage and perform contract reviews
  • Acquire and maintain guarantees to mitigate credit risk and support sales
  • Manage and maintain credit files and ensure documentation is submitted correctly
  • Maintain relationship with credit insurance company, maximize limit coverage and manage claims
  • Monitor the service provider who is performing all transactional order release activities
  • Manage all stakeholders (both internal as well as external);
  • Manage, own and optimize the processes end-to-end
  • Continuously look for improvements and implement quick wins;
  • Focus on innovation and automation
  • Create a plan how to set KPI"s, monitor them and improve the outcomes
  • Be the champion in problem solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures and embedding the new way of working
  • Run process improvement projects;
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for a specific Credit Risk sub-process

Your team
The Order to Cash CoE you will join is part of the Accounting Operations & Services organization. The purpose of the department is to manage the Order to Cash processes; this means responsibility for timely collections of all outstanding amounts (Collections), for risk analyses of all existing and new customers (Credit) and for a timely and correct rebates process. You will report to the Credit Risk & Insurance Team Manager who is responsible for the entire Credit Risk process. You will interact with a variety of stakeholders: the external customers, account/sales managers, order desk, Order to Cash Process Transformation team, Treasury, Finance Business Partners, Accounting, Supply Chain and our service providers.

We are looking for
The ideal candidate should have minimum a Master"s degree in Finance and 5-7 years of related experience. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean) would be a preference. As a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Expert, you contribute to the development of concepts and techniques. You have a pro-active attitude with analytical and communicative capabilities. Network skills are of the outmost importance. Proficient level of English language is essential.

You are suitable for this role when you additionally have:

  • Experience with credit analyses and overseeing the entire credit risk process
  • Experience in shared services and in managing a service provider
  • Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge of another European language is an advantage
  • Deep understanding of customer and market needs and structure
  • Knowledge of the upstream quote to order process is preferable
  • Knowledge of credit insurance is an advantage
  • Ability to have the courage and perseverance to stand up against senior management when required
  • Determination to optimize the credit risk
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills;
  • Process insight and redesign expertise
  • ERP knowledge, preferably FSCM module in SAP
  • Customer and service focused
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to build a strong network within the organization
  • Proven track record in continuously improving and embedding the changes;
  • Advanced coaching skills;
  • Role model as team player and motivator
  • Ability to work with other cultures
