Your responsibilities
In this rewarding role, you have a global responsibility for the design of the Purchase to Pay process

  • Own the agreed Purchase to Pay process designs and the roadmap to implement this design
  • Define and monitor the compliance towards the process standards
  • Prepare, approve and decide on change requests in IT applications
  • Initiate and deploy improvements within the framework and scope of the defined roadmap and priorities
  • Operate as change agent within the organization to drive improvements and standardization
  • Translate finance directives into operational procedures and/or processes including determining the impact on related tools
  • Align with stakeholders in Finance and business process domains to assure a consistent approach
  • Monitor the progress on the various improvement initiatives, identify issues and drive mitigating actions.
  • Manage and monitor the Purchase to Pay processes end-to-end;
  • Participate in projects and activities as assigned by the global process lead
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement the business process experts and subject matter experts
  • Ensure sufficient focus on innovation and automation in this digital era
  • Coach the operations team in problem solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures and embedding the new way of working.
  • Be the global business process owner for the finance processes within the Purchase to Pay end-to-end process
  • Support migrations of Purchase to Pay processes from countries into the Finance Services Center by identifying right standards to be implemented
  • Maintain relations with local universities and other external stakeholders

We are looking for
The ideal candidate should have minimum a Master"s degree and 7+ years of related experience of which 5 years in a managerial role and 3+ years in process owner role. Experience with designing and implementing the Purchase to Pay process end to end has a preference. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean) would be a preference. As a highly skilled GBPO, you contribute to the development of concepts and techniques. You have a pro-active attitude with analytical and communicative capabilities. Network skills are of the outmost importance. Proficient level of English language is essential.

You are suitable for this role when you additionally have:

  • Experience with designing and managing the Purchase to Pay process
  • Experience in shared services and in managing/cooperating with a service provider
  • Experience with project management and change management
  • Solid experience with financial processes and strong understanding of the business
  • Experience with managing projects in complex environments with different stakeholders.
